Kim: These musicians like that, when it comes to the concerts, nothing is written in stone. Everything's improvised. It keeps the shows exciting.
Even with "Tuff Enuff" and "Wrap It Up," there are spots in those songs where it's totally improvised.
And when I call the songs off in a different order or I throw something new at the band that they haven't played in a while, they appreciate it. It makes life more exciting.
If you're playing the same set list every night, you've got problems. After a year of that, you won't want to play anymore.
So the improvisational factor is really important to me. And I think it's important to the guys too.
