Feel is the most important element in creating music

Dean Shot (guitar): I think feel is the most important element in creating music. That's the number one thing I look for in any art. I want to feel that. I want to feel it from inside. It should feel as though it's something that you have to do. To me, this person is releasing something that they would have to release whether they were on stage or not. It's a compulsion. I would be playing this music whether I was playing it professionally or not. I'd be pursuing the expression of it.
